HAPPY 50TH ANNIVERSARY

It was my grandma and grandpa's 50th anniversary last weekend, we had a party for them and it was so good to see everyone. Congratulations grandma and grandpa, I'm so proud of you guys and love both of you so much.

This is a picture of their 3 kids and spouses, I was too slow and didn't get a picture of all the grandkids and parents, so I hope that somebody emails it to me.

While we were having a great time at the party, Logan was playing around and fell on one of those metal church fold-up chairs and shaddered his tooth. We thought that might have ruined our weekend and we had just barely got there, but all the dentists we talked to said it could wait until we got home on tuesday.

He's a tough little boy, it didn't even seem to bother him that bad. He just figured out a way to eat from the side of his mouth instead of the front.

So Tuesday when we got back into town we went to the dentist, they looked at it for 10 seconds and said they had to refer us to a pediatric dentist, but the one they refer to was in Hawaii until June, so we had to go to a different town on Wednesday morning and get it pulled.

We thought they would have to put him to sleep but where he was so young they didn't want to, so they had me hold his hands down and the dr. hold his head. They numbed him and then just pulled it out. This is him sleeping on the way home from the dentist.

And here is our little redneck boy, he is going to have a space in there until his permanent tooth comes in, so about 4-5 years. The dentist said if we put a fake tooth in we would be coming in every couple of weeks to get in reset because he's still growing and it would just be a pain, so he will just be toothless for a while.

Cowgirl time!

While we were at my parents house my brothers got their horses out and let us ride them. The girls loved it, well Lacee did anyway and Brooke did if someone was on it with her. We couldn't get Lacee off, she's a natural cowgirl.


I broke the rules and wore flip-flops when I rode the horse.


Logan didn't like it at all, it's kind of funny cause he ride the 4-wheeler and the loud motorbike, but did not want to get anywhere near the horse.

I'm afraid of what Lacee is going to ask for her next birthday. She just took right off and loved riding "Snip." He was a really good horse and Lacee seemed to have a way with it.
