Camping with the cousins

We went camping with the Power cousins this summer and had lots of fun! I hardly ever saw the kids they were always off playing with cousins and came around when it was time to eat and go to sleep.

We went to the creek to play in it and got about 10 minutes of playing in and then it started downpouring. It stopped long enough for us to get back to camp and then poured hard for a while that day.

We went to the "Candy" mine. Thanks to Devan and Kris's fun ideas the kids found little rocks in the mine that were candy. It was really fun for the kids, but I think it was funner to watch them putting non-candy rocks in their mouths too making sure they didn't miss any candy.

This mine you could walk down inside and then there was a hole right above our heads you could see daylight through, so it wasn't completely dark.
