Here are some pictures of our lawn, just imagine green grass, whats the saying "if you dream it, it will come" it's in the field of dreams but I'm not sure what it is anyway... we planted grass in the front of our house 9 days ago and then just last saturday we planted a 30 X 60 foot in the back. We really want some lawn and didn't want to wait until next year, but everyone we talk to says its the best time to plant grass. We should have took pictures before levi knocked down a big pile of weeds and dirt in the front. We have done a lot of work to it and there is still lots of work to do.
One of these days I will add pictures of the inside of my house, but while I've been watering and taking care of the outside, the inside has been left to the kids and it is a big mess!!! So those pics will have to come later.
This picture is before we planted the grass and raked it.
(In front)

This is a week after we planted grass. Do you see anything?

Levi's brother, Frank and nephew Kayden came and helped us the first saturday with the front big part, we had no idea how to do it without them, Thanks for all your help guys!!! It was really dusty if you can't tell.

Before we raked in the back.
After we planted and raked, we didn't want to get too carried away so we just did a little patch in the back. As you may or may not tell we learned a lot from the front and it looks much better in the back than it does up front. It's a lot smoother and we haven't stepped on it at all.

LOOK!!! HURRAY!!! We have germination!
After 9 days we can finally see some sprouts coming up all over, but you have to look really close. It's amazing how a few pieces of grass can lift ones spirits.
I was getting so tired of watering it 3 times a day and some hot days 4 and then we saw grass and it makes it all worth it.

Welcome to the world of being home owners. There is always so much to do inside and out. But it is very rewarding! You'll have a beautiful yard by the time we see it!
